"The highly anticipated action movie, "The Equalizer 3", is in the capable hands
of director Antoine Fuqua, who previously helmed "Training Day", and
screenwriter Richard Wenk. Denzel Washington reprises his role as Robert McCall,
a former government assassin struggling to come to terms with his past while
seeking justice for the oppressed.
The film also features Dakota Fanning, David
Denman, and Gaia Scodellaro, with Fanning reuniting with Washington after their
collaboration in "Man on Fire" over two decades ago. Set in Southern Italy,
McCall finds himself protecting his new friends from the control of local crime
bosses.
As events turn deadly, he takes on the mafia to become their protector.
The movie is produced by a star-studded team including Fuqua, Washington, Todd
Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Clayton Townsend, Alex Siskin, Tony
Eldridge, and Michael Sloan, with David Bloomfield, Tarak Ben Ammar, and Andy
Mitchell serving as executive producers."
